Back to school announcment 3rd through 9th grade classes will be using the swimming pool for PE class. Please bring a swimsuit and towel to the first day of school.


Season passes will be available for purchase at the High School office. Please stop in and pick yours up. This year all Jones County students K-12 will be free. You can also find your livestreaming information at www.nfhsnetwork.com. All viewing of games will require a subscription for the 2024-2025 season.


There will be a cheerleaders meeting on Monday, August 12 at 5pm for anyone 9-12 grade interested in Football Cheer in the Choir Room. If you have questions please contact Shelly Schweigert at the High School.

The refinishing of the floor turned out awesome! We get many compliments about our gym throughout the year. To help us out, please remember no street/outside shoes on the Auditorium floor so we can keep it looking great!
Also, reminder that elementary age children under 13 need to be supervised by an adult over the age of 18 at all times in the auditorium and weightroom.
SDHSAA Moratorium will be in place July 1st-July 7th the Harold Thune Auditorium and weightroom will be closed during this time.

Parents- The SDHSAA is working on an Economic Impact study of their state events. The purpose of the study to is gather data to form partnerships with Chambers of Commerce and other business entities in state event cities in order to explore ways to keep costs down to schools and families/spectators. No personal information is collected within the survey and all responses are anonymous. Attention parents and guardians of Jones County athletes, it is that time of year again when we need your help. Your athlete and the school participate in a program called Build your Base with Beef. It is a program that help our students' athletes learn to become stronger, faster and eating healthy for their body. This program allows us to host post and pregame team meals. The grant we receive helps us purchase the beef for free.
